The Edo State Governor, Mr. Godwin Nogheghase Obaseki, has extended his heartfelt condolences to Dr. Michael Nwoko, the SSA to the Governor of Delta State on Health Monitoring and the entire Nwoko family on the Passing of a renowned kind-hearted father, Prince Augustine Enuraiwe Nwoko, popularly known as Osisikponku, who died at the age of 92.
Governor Obaseki, in a statement issued on the 17th of June, 2022 by his Principal Conf. Secretary, Mrs. Blessing A. Aigbokhavbo, expressed shock over the Passing of the nonagenarian, saying that Prince Augustine Enuraiwe Nwoko's demise was painful and a great loss to the deceased family, Delta State and the country as a whole.
The Governor urged the deceased family, friends, associates, to take the death of Prince Augustine Enuraiwe Nwoko as an act of God.
He said: "Prince Augustine Enuraiwe Nwoko's death is painful. He was a bundle of talents, who used his God-given gift to advance the course of mankind.
"There is no doubt that the loss of a loved one can be most distressing, irrespective of the age. However, for every human, death is inevitable and for Late Prince Augustine Enuraiwe Nwoko, he had lived well and completed his journey on earth."
"No doubt the death of a loved one is usually painful because it is irreparable but we must always take solace in God especially if the deceased had lived a good and fulfilled life, just like the Late Prince Augustine Enuraiwe Nwoko.
"I sympathise with Nwoko's children, brothers and sisters, family, and colleagues. I pray that God will grant the late Prince Augustine Enuraiwe Nwoko eternal rest and grant the family the fortitude to bear the
irreparable loss." Governor Obaseki concluded.
