The Enugu state Commissioner for Environment and Climate Change, Prof. Sam Chijioke Ugwu, has congratulated His Excellency, the Executive Governor of Enugu State, Dr. Peter Ndubuisi Mbah on his victory at the Governorship Election Petitions Tribunal on Thursday.
The commissioner in a statement, sent to Enugupress.ng by one of his aides, Kingsley Odoabuchi, stated that the judgement is a validation of Enugu people's mandate which was freely given to the governor during March 18th general elections.
The commissioner who congratulated the governor, also commended the judiciary, people of the state as well as the people's Democratic Party, PDP.
"It is with joy that I congratulate my principal and Executive Governor of our dear state, His Excellency, Dr. Peter Mbah on his well-deserved victory at the Governorship Election Tribunal Court.
“I also congratulate the leadership and members of our great party, the People's Democratic Party, and all Enugu people at home and in the Diaspora on this very landmark judicial victory. Let me also salute the judiciary for delivering justice to our people.”
