The Senate Committee Chairman on Solid Minerals, Steel Development, and Metallurgy, Senator Osita Ngwu, today, 5th October 2023, emerged Secretary of the Southeast Senate caucus.
The South East Senate caucus had met at exactly 10am and had unanimously elected its new leadership, with Senator Enyinnaya Hacourt Abaribe of Abia South Senatorial district as the new leader, while Senator Osita Ngwu of Enugu West emerged the Secretary.
Enugupress.ng reports that the new leadership was announced at the floor of the Senate by the Senate president, Senator Godswill Obot Akpabio, for the notice of the Distinguished Senators and the general public.
