A 32 year old Ogbonna Chinedu from Akpugo-Ezedike in Uzo Uwani LGA of Enugu state, has benefited from the Gburugburu free medical surgery program.
Mr. Ogbonna was operated alongside Mr. Ekunife Nnalue (65yrs) from igga, also from Uzo Uwani LGA.
While Mr. Ogbonna Chinedu 32yrs had right inguinoscrotal hernia and herniorrhaphy, Mr. Ekunife Nnalue had left strangulated inguinal hernia and herniorrhaphy.
The exercise which place on the 7th of November, 2023, took place at the team's Medical facility (Cheif Julius Ajogwu Memorial Hospital), along Edem road, Nsukka LGA.
The program is in support of Ex-Governor Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi's good governance as well as Governor Peter Mbah and Barr. Ifeanyi Ossai's leadership Excellence in the state.
According to the medical director of the free surgery program, Dr. George Ajogwu, the exercise targets the indigents across Enugu state, irrespective of their zone or LGA.
