The Executive Chairman of Isi-Uzo local Government Area of Enugu State, Hon. Barr Obiora Obeagu, on the 24th of November, 2023, was honoured with the best performing Chairman Merit Award', by the Roots-Watch Magazine in Abuja.
The Council chairman was reprepresented at the occasion by the Secretary to the LG, Hon Barr Azubuike Odoh, who was accompanied by the wife of the council chairman,Hon Mrs Onyinyechi Obeagu, Media personality, Titus Agbo and Obioma Akwanwanna, SA on Town planning
The Award was presented to the council chairman by the the chairman of the occasion,Chief Bayode Ojo.
The even took place at the National Merit House, Maitama, Abuja.
Hon. Obeagu was recognised by the leadership of the Magazine for his immense contributions in the development of the society and his leadership Excellence in Isi-Uzo LGA of ENUGU State, in the areas of infrastructure and Excellent leadership styles.
