The disruptive path of this government's agenda knows no bound. Not only those with the third eye could envisage the total haulage plan in governance that is about to happen to Enugu State.
I see that the arrow head is ready to kick out mediocrity and disgruntled elements that stand as cog to the wheel of progress in his transformational terrain.
The first crucial but vital step that must be considered is in the process of new leadership selection, election and appointments at every level and phase:
1.Competence & professionalism must not be compromised. By this, the de-facto virtuous circle of god-fatherism will naturally pave way to excellence.
2. Fresheners should be preferred to those with antecedent culture of corruption, starting from this forthcoming Primaries of the LG chairmanship election in the State.
3. Apart from the status quo internal quality assurance teams,an uncompromising independent Monitoring & Evaluation department or that of the office of the Auditor General is indispensable in each and every project awarded if we must enjoy a lasting paradigm shift in terms of resource utilization.
The cost of sponsoring central formidable Quality Assurance team for field confirmatory reports after each project is nothing compared to the unquantifiable diversion of resources on sub-standard projects that are hardly completed, noticeable here and there.
4. Needless to remind His Excellency being a legal luminary himself, of the deterrent lesson the generality of the corrupt-bound workers shall learn after each convicted defaulter is incercerated according to the law.
