A popular Enugu-based Medical Doctor and Director of Gburugburu Free Medical Surgery, Dr. George Ajogwu, has congratulated the Governor of Enugu State, Dr. Peter Ndubuisi Mbah and Barr. Ifeanyi Ossai over the governor's recent court victory at the Appeal Court.
Director of Gburugburu Free Medical Surgery, Dr. George Ajogwu has hailed the judgment of the Court of Appeal, Lagos, which upheld Governor Peter Mbah's victory in the March 18, 2023 governorship election in the state.
According to Dr. Ajogwu, the judgment of the Appeal Court has further restored the confidence Enugu people repose in the institution of the Judiciary and the hope for the sustenance of democracy in our country.
His words: I want to commend the judiciary for its courage in upholding justice and reaffirming the saying that “the Judiciary is the last hope of the common man.”
"I also want to congratulate the good people of Enugu State as well as Governor Peter Mbah and his deputy, Barr. Ifeanyi Ossai on this court victory.
"From all of us at Gburugburu free medical surgery, we are saying a big congratulations to our party, PDP and the entire state," he said.
