It is on record that right from his days as a youth, the immediate past Governor of Enugu State was known for his magnanimity, ceaseless and selfless service to humanity.
That was while he was in the public service from House of Representatives as a member to Government House Enugu as Governor for 20 uninterrupted years, he was a rare humanist and generous giver, who sacrificed and was ready to sacrifice anything to better the lots of people and satisfy human wants and needs of the, especially that of the needy, downtrodden and less privileged.
That was why throughout his years in public office, he usually celebrated his birthday every March 20 at the homes of the elderly and less privileged people.
Not too long after leaving office, the immediate past Governor just recently donated a brand new multi-million Naira Jet Mover Bus Exclusive to the Gburugburu Free Surgery Team led by Dr. George Ajogwu to make their movements and other activities easier. It would be recalled that the immediate past Governor also recently donated N1m towards the neurosurgery of a poor child, Chidebum Ezema that was in critical condition.
This was apart from the consistent and ceaseless supports and donations, the ex Governor has made to the team since they began their free medical surgery that has saved the lives of many who have health challenges, but cannot afford to take care of it.
