The Gburugburu free medical team, on the 2nd of November, 2023, carried out a landmark multiple uterine fibroid and myomectomy surgery on a 32 year old Ugwuoke bibian from Orba, Udenu LGA of Enugu State.
The free exercise which was performed at the team's Medical facility (Cheif Julius Ajogwu Memorial Hospital), along Edem road, Nsukka LGA, was one of the most complex surgical cases, successfully handled by Dr. George Ajogwu, the Director of Gburugburu free surgery program and his Team, in support of Ex-Governor Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi's good governance.
Earlier before the exercise, the team had also carried out free surgery on a 30 year old Ugwu Victor Ifeanyi with abnormal growth on the face as well removed inguinoscrotal hernia and herniorrhaphy on a 26 year old Ugwueze Arinze from Ohom Orba in Udenu LGA.
