There was excitement as Ex-Governor, Rt. Hon. Dr. Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi, on Thursday night, bolstered Gburugburu free Surgery Program with a multi-million naira Jet Mover.
The former Governor was particularly impressed that the free Surgery Program which began while he held sway as governor of Enugu state, has continued to touch several thousands of lives of people across Enugu North senatorial zone and even beyond, after he left office, without complications.
The former Governor, however, donated the brand new car worth several millions of naira to assist the medical team, led by the DG, Dr. George Ajogwu in ensuring smooth running of the medical program.
Already, the free Surgery Program has successfully, handled over one thousand four hundred surgeries without medical complications.
Upon delivery of the new car to the team, the medical Director of the program, Dr. George, who was overjoyed, was visibly sighted singing praises in appreciation to God almighty for the new delivery.
