...As Council Chairman Commends FG, Gov. Mbah for Urgent Intervention
The Executive chairman of Igboetiti Local Government Area, Hon. Ikenna Nwodo, has praised the federal government of Nigeria, as well as Governor Peter Ndubuisi Mbah of ENUGU State, for ensuring that works are recommenced along Makurdi expressway road (*Express Way*).
The Council Chairman, while apologizing for the inconveniences the road maintainance would cause to road users, also warned that there would be no access for trailers within Igboetiti axis, during such exercise.
According to him: "this is to inform our people that Igbo-Etiti LGA has Re-commenced road works along Enugu - Otupko expressway (*Old Road*), and it will last between 30th November, 2023 - 9th January, 2024.
"On behalf of Igboetiti LGA, I want to thank the Federal Government as well as our dearest Governor, Dr. Peter Mbah, for making this possible.
"Meanwhile, it is also important I apologize for the inconveniences the road maintainance would cause to road users, as there would be no access for trailers within Igboetiti axis, during the exercise," chairman stated.
