The Rt. Hon. Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi Gburugburu Free Surgery Program, on the 13th and 14th of November, 2023, carried out free medical surgery on three indigent patients from Enugu North Senatorial zone.
Those who benefitted from the free medical exercise inude 58 year old Catherine from Enugu Abbi with giant Lipoma on the chest whose Lumpectomy was done; 45 year old Ochi Nnamdi from Adaba with giant Lipoma at the back of the neck, whose Lumpectomy was done and 18 year old Uja Jecintha from Enugu Ezike with right breast Lump, who also had her Lumpectomy done.
The free surgeries were performed at the team's Medical facility (Cheif Julius Ajogwu Memorial Hospital), located along Edem road, Nsukka LGA.
Speaking with Enugupress.ng, the DG of the Gburugburu free surgery programme Dr. George Ajogwu said that Rt. Hon. Dr. Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi, Gburugburu had insisted that the program which he initiated when he was Governor of Enugu state will continue in total support of the good Governance of Barr. Peter Mbah and Barr. Ifeanyi Ossai.
His words: "His Excellency, Dr. Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi has insisted that this program which he initiated when he was Governor of Enugu state will continue in total of support of H. E. Barr. Peter Mbah and H. E. Barr. Ifeanyi Ossai, Governor and Deputy Governor of Enugu state."
