Following the recent decision of the Court of Appeals which sacked Hon. Jude Udefuna and Obinna Ijere of the Labour Party respectively, and the eventual swearing-in of Hon. Chima Obieze, representing Ezeagu constituency, alongside Hon. Solomon Izuchukwu Onah, member representing Udenu constituency by the Speaker of the State House of Assembly, RT Hon. Uche Ugwu on Wednesday, the PDP now leads the Assembly as majority.

rgence of Hon. Chukwuma Ekwueme, former minority whip and member representing Uzo Uwani State Constituency, as new Chief Whip of the state Parliament.
Meanwhile, while the PDP currently has about 12 members, the LP has 11, pending the determination of the rerun in Enugu South Urban state constituency.
