The Gburugburu Free Surgery Programme, on the 4th and 5th of December, 2023, saved a three year old baby, Master Ejiofor Soromutochukwu from Edem in Nsukka LGA, whose Bilateral Hydrocoele of the cord was corrected.
The exercise which was carried-out at Chief Chief Ajogwu Memorial Hospital, Edem road, in Nsukka LGA, was performed by a team of competent Medical professionals, led by the DG of Gburugburu Free Medical Surgery, Dr. George Ajogwu.
Founded by a former Governor of Enugu State, His Excellency, Rt. Hon. Dr. Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi, those who benefitted alongside little Ejiofor include Miss Ajogwu Chinagorum from UVURU who had Lipoma on the neck and had Lumpectomy done; as well as Baba Happiness from Ofu in Kogi state with complex breast lump whose Lumpectomy was also done.
The other two beneficiaries were Ezema Osita from Alor Ulo with Giant Lipoma at the back of the neck and Lumpectomy was done, as well as Okoro Fidelia from Akpugo-ezedike who had Left Breast Lump and Lumpectomy also was done.
