The Chukwudi Nnadozie-led administration has commissioned a brand new solar-powered Borehole at Ugbene-Ajima, in Uzo Uwani LGA of Enugu State.
The event which triggered a wild celebration among residents of the community, was attended by leaders of thoughts and notable stakeholders of the community.
The jubilant leaders who used the opportunity to thank the council chairman for his giant strides since taking over the reigns of power in the council Area include Dr. Romanus Ezike, Chika Aluma, Cyprian Obochi, PG of the community and the Councilor of the ward.
Those in attendance include Dan Aluma, former Councilor; Otti Thomas, Ugwu Fabian, Robert Ezike, Ogbonna Joseph, former Councilor; Mrs. Amoke Chinasa, woman leader of the PDP; Mrs. Aruma chioma, Dan Aluma C, etcetera.
In his remarks, Hon. Nnadozie, who was accompanied by his deputy, Hon. Pius Okeagu, appreciated the people for their support for the administration, while stating that he would continue to treasure the opportunity given to him to serve the LGA by the people.
Earlier in his goodwill message, Dr. Romanus Ezike had thanked the council chairman for solving their long term problem of access to portable water.
"Mr. Chairman, we can only thank you for for listening and coming to our plight. We cannot thank you enough," he said. ,
