As the glorious administration of Hon. Chukwudi Celestine Nnadozie-led administration winds down on 3rd of match, 2024, the council chairman, on the 1st of March, 2024, has within a space of one week, commissioned a second solar-powered Borehole at Nrobo ward, in Igbo-ano development centre of Uzo Uwani LGA of Enugu State..
The event which triggered a wild celebration among residents of the community, was attended by leaders and notable stakeholders of the community, led by their traditional ruler.
Leaders and stakeholders from the ward who praised the council chairman include Hon. Maxwell Ugwoke, former vice Chairman of the LGA; Hon. Oliji Josephat, former leader of the legislative council; Michael Ogbobe, Youth leader of the PDP; Thadeus Ogbobe, Linus Nnadi, among others.
In his remarks, the council chairman who used the opportunity to thank the people for their support in the last four years, however, commissioned the water amid cheers.
Recall that the council chairman had last week, commissioned another new Borehole at Ugbene while awaiting to commission another new solar powered Borehole at the council secretariat in Umulokpa, in the next few days.
Highlight of the event was presentation of clay pot, which is a symbolic representation of the community, to the council boss.
