The Igboeze South Local Government Area, has approved the completion of the abandoned renovation of the Council Secretariat, Known as Enejere Building.
The Local Council also expressed readiness to revamp other moribund facilities and infrastructure across the LGA.
The Executive Chairman of the Local Council, Barr. UgoFerdinad, Stated this on 14th of October, 2024, shortly after approving the project at the council area.
The project which is in three phases include: main building, the compound and access.
While the first phase of the building is intended to be completed within the next three months of kick off, the two remaining phases would be completed subsequently.
Enugupress.ng reports that the Council Boss, had also expressed readiness to transform the abandoned project into an ultramodern Secretariat within three months.
He further stated that his administration will work round-the-clock to ensure general upgrading of infrastructure across the LGA.
