*Issues with the Roy Ekwueme Faction*

Information available to enugupress.ng indicates that a faction of the youth group loyal to Comr. Roy Ekwueme, the out-gone president of the organization, had on Saturday, 7th of September 2024 at Adada Hall, Nsukka, elected Ambassador Clinton Ogbonna and other officials to pilot its affairs as leaders of the group.

But critical youth stakeholders across the zone, led by chairman of stakeholders and his secretary, Paschal Nnaemeka Ugwu and Sebastine Odo, among other top youth leaders, in a letter to the Enugu State Commissioner for Youths, had distanced themselves from the September 7th election that produced Ambassador Clinton Ogbonna, citing breach of constitutions and other irregularities which include.

1. That Mr. Roy Ekwueme's term as President of the group expired on July 26, 2024, thereby making All actions taken by him after this said  date null and void. The Stakeholders also declared his continued claims to leadership as impersonation.

2. That Mr. Roy be directed to submit all properties and documents of Nsukka Youth General Assembly to the Stakeholders immediately. The documents include all financial records, assets, and materials belonging to the association.

3. That Roy was expected to await further directives from the Board of Trustees regarding the transition process and any subsequent actions, noting that failure to comply with this directive may lead to further consequences as may be decided by the Stakeholders and the Law.

He was thereafter, directed to comply with this directive within 48 hours of receiving this letter.

Meanwhile, the election of Comr. Ugwu Fidelis, now implies that Nsukka Youth General Assembly now has two factional leaderships.
