...Unveils 6-point manifesto
Engr. Victor Chukwudalu Achilike of the Department of Mechanical Engineering, Faculty of Engineering, University of Nigeria, Nsukka (UNN), who is contesting for Convocation Representative in the Governing Council of the University has promised robust and quality representation if elected.
Engr Achilike disclosed this in Nsukka yesterday while briefing newsmen. He said that his campaign manifesto with the theme: "Empowerment, Engagement, Excellence: A Vision for Our Future," would ensure robust and quality representation geared towards advocating for the interests and concerns of all alumni and staff welfare of the University.

Dear Esteemed Alumni and Staff of our great Citadel of Learning, UNN.
As I stand before you, I humbly seek your support and trust in my candidacy for the position of Convocation Representative at the University of Nigeria, Nsukka (UNN).
I am driven by a profound commitment to enriching our University experience and ensuring that our voices are heard, valued, and represented.
MY VISION:
1. Commitment to Advocacy:
I will actively advocate for the interests and concerns of all alumni and staff welfare. Your perspectives are essential, and I will ensure that they are communicated effectively to the administration, fostering an environment where every voice counts.
2. Strengthening Alumni Connections:
I aim to create robust connections between current students and alumni. By organizing networking events, mentorship programs, and workshops, we can harness the wisdom and experience of our alumni, ensuring a smooth transition into the professional world.
3. Enhancing Engagement:
I will work tirelessly to enhance alumni engagement through regular forums and feedback sessions.
These platforms will serve as a space for sharing ideas, discussing challenges, and collaborating on solutions that benefit our community.

Graduations are milestones worth celebrating! I will advocate for more inclusive and memorable convocation ceremonies, ensuring that the achievements of every graduate are honored in a manner that reflects our collective pride.

Together, we can launch projects that address pressing issues like electricity power supply, improving the security apparatus through the use of digital technology and surveillance systems within our community, and enhance our University’s legacy.

I pledge to maintain transparency in my actions and decisions. You deserve to know how your needs and concerns are being addressed. Regular updates and open communication will be fundamental to my approach.
